Customers rave about the generous filling that accompanies the bun, with highlights including pork and glutinous chicken rice options that are irresistibly tasty.

Reviews for 玻璃市 大包 Kedai Kopi Khuan Bee(Tua pau)
Review highlights
Based on 342 reviews玻璃市 大包 Kedai Kopi Khuan Bee(Tua pau) is widely recognized for its signature big pao, notable for its generous filling and fluffy, well-crafted skin. The establishment is appreciated for maintaining reasonable prices despite the sizable portion. Customers commonly highlight the need to preorder due to limited daily stock, with walk-in purchases often resulting in sold-out items. Besides the famous pork pao, other offerings like glutinous chicken rice and sweet buns receive positive remarks for distinctive taste and quality. While the café's coffee is generally well regarded, its relocation after a previous incident has not affected its popularity. Convenience factors such as limited parking and timing (availability after 11am) are often mentioned by patrons.
Its famous big pao(大包) cost RM5.50 but the stuffing/filling portion is big too. The pork pao and glutinous chicken rice tastes good too. We ordered the food in advance and usually have to wait until after 11am only can get it as they are baking it.
Apparently this place is famous for the bao and we actually ordered upfront since travelling from Penang. I think it is pretty good but not that special until made me want to travel all the way to Perlis for this. But if I am around the vicinity then sure, will buy this. Not sure why so famous until there is no stock for walk in to buy also.
Famous for its big pau, but make sure you not arrive too early, as they only ready by 11am. Recommend call to order before you come here, as only limited amount of big pau they make everyday. Price is quite reasonable, as it's just RM5.50 for a big pau. Worth to try.
The pao skin is very fluffy. The Big Pao is the most sought after and it's huge. Quantity is limited and usually take away will not be possible unless pre-order. Parking along the road. This shop shifted to the current location after its original shop was burnt down. Coffee is not bad too.
Their big bun and lo mai kai were real deal. Different from others, in a positive way. Everything taste so good. I like how fluffy and delicious the buns are, especially their sweet buns such as red bean bun and kaya bun. How I wish I could take away a few more. Sadly sold out.
Traditional coffee shop with hand made buns - char siew, red bean, vegetable, kaya and glutinous rice chicken (lo mai kai) are must have. First batch of buns ready at around 11-12pm but be sure to come early to make advance order with boss. Otherwise would have to wait for 2nd batch ready at around 3-4pm. Very popular among locals, be early to avoid a wasted trip
